The days of being an elite player in the NBA is over.
Well, according to fans and certain players in the league. Many have questioned how New York Knicks guard JR Smiths’ brother Chris Smith made the team’s roster. Now Detroit Pistons star Brandon Jennings is the latest to do so.

Jennings went on Twitter Wednesday night and asked ‘why his buddies can’t be in the NBA if Chris Smith is.’ He later deleted his tweet, but not fast enough.
Jennings like many Knicks fans doesn’t see the value. Chris has been inactive for the first seven games and is expected to spend the majority of the season in the D-League.
Once JR caught wind of the tweet he responded with an insult. Check out the exchanges below.
Smith was likely referring to when Josh Selby dunked on Jennings during a 2011 Goodman League game. But JR has a right to defend his brother, regardless if Jennings has a point or not.
